After leaking his own album in front of a live Detroit audience, what will Kanye West do next? Well, drop a collection of colorful Yeezys, of course! What else?
As you might have heard by now, Kanye West did not drop the album – Jesus is King – that he promised to drop last Friday. Shocker. Not the first time that Kanye has reneged on the promise of dropping a new album on its release date or delayed the album release altogether, and it will not be the last. But you know who did get the chance to hear the new album? Detroit.
That is right. Kanye was at the Fox Theatre on this same Friday, coincidentally, and just because he did not give the rest of the world this album, he played this album for the Detroit crowd. While it is kind of corny that he still has yet to drop the album worldwide for the world (and most importantly, me) to hear, but as a dude from Detroit, it’s kind of cool to know some folks in my area (some of which I know, actually) actually heard the album.
But anyway, this article is not about the album or the Detroit area getting the exclusive music roll out. I wish it was, but it’s not. This is a sneaker site, not a music site. I wish it was (then I’d actually care about what I’m writing about and like my job), but it’s not. This is about Kanye dropping some colorful colorways of the Yecheil” Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. According to Yeezy Mafia, they are dropping on Dec. 12 at a retail price of $200.
Be sure to check back with this website for all the sneaker news about these Yeezys. Not about the updates on Kanye’s album, though. Check Twitter for that.
