WNBA Champion and owner of a signature shoe? Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty can say that she's both of those things.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft has another line of sneakers being released, and the news was revealed earlier this week. It's called the Nike Sabrina 3, and it will launch on July 24.
Ionescu started a shoe line with Nike in 2023 after signing an endorsement deal with the company in 2020, releasing the Nike Sabrina 1 in June 2023 and the Nike Sabrina 2 in June 2024. Now, her third installment, the Nike Sabrina 3, is hitting the court later this month.

The Nike website describes the color of Ionescu's latest shoe as "Glacier Blue/Light Armory Blue/Still Blue/Metallic Gold" and states that "This light blue design with precise white hits speaks to Sabrina’s blueprint that all hoopers can abide by." The sneakers will cost $135 for adult sizes and $100 for big kid sizes.
Ionescu, the top pick in the 2020 draft, helped lead the Liberty to its first-ever WNBA title last year in a thrilling Game 5 victory over the Minnesota Lynx. The former Oregon Duck set all kinds of records during her collegiate years, including in points, assists, three-pointers, and free throw percentages, to name a few.
It was truly a shame that she didn't get to shine in front of a national audience in the NCAA Tournament during her senior season (thanks a lot, COVID).
Fortunately, she's been an absolute baller during her pro career, and the championship ring is just the latest of her on-court accomplishments. It's also been great seeing her thrive off the court as well, and the Nike Sabrina 3 is likely going to be even more popular than the Liberty star's previous sneaker installments.
