Juice WRLD breaks Future’s Sneaker Shopping record

Juice WRLD was a guest on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping yesterday where after talking shoes with Joe La Puma, he proceeded to break Future’s $38k spending record for most bought at items during an episode.

Juice WRLD just did what no man or woman has managed to do in the past four months: run up a bill higher than the show’s record title holder.

If you have been a frequent reader of Under the Laces and our content – if not, you should be – then you know that every week when we cover Complex’s premiere shoe show, Sneaker Shopping, we track how much money the guest spends on shoes every episode. The reason why is to see how close anyone can get to how much Future spent during his own episode of Sneaker Shopping back in January.

When Future guest starred on Sneaker Shopping, he spent a total of $38, 971.86, an all time record for the show’s spending history. Few guests afterwards ever came close to Future’s number. In more recent months, guests have spent not much more than a couple thousand dollars on sneakers and apparel at the LA Flight Club and in some cases, merely a few hundred dollars. For the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, a fellow rapper stepped up to the plate and did not come to play about his money or his shoes.

That rapper was rising star Juice WRLD, who ironically enough dropped a collab album with Future last October. Juice was a guest on Sneaker Shopping yesterday. Him and Joe La Puma discussed Juice’s favorite shows, drawing style influence from the likes of ASAP Rocky and Tyler the Creator, and how he grew up wanting to buy everything he wanted.

However, the biggest talking point coming out of the episode is the fact that in total, Juice spent $42,032. 28. That officially makes him the new record holder for most things bought during an episode of Sneaker Shopping. Congrats to Juice on the accomplishment!
