Rapper Quavo from the illustrious rap group “Migos” talks about his favorite shoes and his sneaker collection worth $3 million.
Atlanta based rap group “Migos” are taking the world by storm. They have put out many hit songs such as “MotorSport” “Stir fry” “Bad and Boujee ” just to name a few. Migos was featured on Sneaker Shopping with Complex two years ago but, it was time for head honcho Quavo to make a solo appearance and discuss some of his favorite kicks.
Quavo joined “Sneaker Shopping” host Joe La Puma and shared that he once saw a fight break out while he was in line due to people wanting the Jordan 11’s. Quavo also talks about collecting shoes after games while sitting court side, from various players like Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving. He states that his sneaker collection called “Huncho Hall” is worth over $3 million and one of his most rare shoe is the the first Nike Yeezy.
Quavo has given back to his former high school “Berkmar” by donating custom Lebron’s and KD’s to the basketball team the past two years. He speaks on the importance of giving back to the commuity saying “It’s always important to give back to my community. Me starting with Berkmar is just one baby step at a time in trying to bless the whole community, but to see the kids faces when I pull up and have something for them, I can see the energy and I feel when they put the shoes on and play basketball, they are playing for something.”
He also shares about FinishLine giving him an exclusive “gold card”to get unlimited shoes for the rest of his life but, he would use the card to get shoes for his nieces and nephews as well as other customers who were shopping in the store.
At the end Quavo buys some shoes and gears with the total cost amassing over $11,000.
