Muhammad Ali may be gone, but his legacy is alive and well, and now it’s showing up in a cage. His oldest grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, is 26 years old and making some noise in the MMA world. Born in Chicago, Biaggio will return on Friday to fight in front of a packed house at Wintrust Arena during the PFL World Championship Semifinals.

He enters the bout with a perfect 2–0 professional record, including a first-round knockout that turned heads across the fight world.

Biaggio is the son of Rasheda Ali, one of Muhammad Ali’s daughters, and he’s been carving his own path for years. Before MMA, he was a standout football player at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas and later played at Cal and UNLV. After leaving football behind, Biaggio turned to MMA, and he hasn’t looked back since.

He now trains out of Xtreme Couture, one of the top MMA gyms in the country, and fights in the lightweight division of the Professional Fighters League. This week’s matchup against Ronnie Gibbs will be a showcase fight on the preliminary card, but with Biaggio’s star rising, it may not be long before he’s headlining.

The Muhammad Ali fighting legacy lives on with Biaggio Ali Walsh

Muhammad Ali’s name still echoes through boxing gyms around the world, and his legacy continues in the ring through Biaggio’s younger brother, Nico Ali Walsh. Nico is currently 12–2–1 as a professional boxer and fights under Top Rank Boxing, the same promotion that once worked with the champ himself.

While Biaggio is dominating in the cage, Nico is climbing the ranks in the boxing world, keeping the Ali name alive on multiple fronts.

How to watch Muhammad Ali’s grandson fight

Biaggio Ali Walsh returns to Chicago on Friday (June 27), for PFL 7. He’ll face Ronnie Gibbs during the preliminary card, airing live on ESPN+ starting at 8:30 PM ET.

Whether it’s in a ring or a cage, the Ali name still commands attention, and if Biaggio keeps winning, don’t be surprised if “The Greatest” ends up being the grandfather of another champion.
