Stop me if you've heard this one before, but Skip Bayless is complaining about something again. It also won't surprise anyone to know that Bayless' latest complaint (or one of them, at least) is about LeBron James.

What did James do to tick Bayless off this time, you ask? Well, this time around it's not about anything James did but rather what Tom Brady, typically one of Bayless' favorite people to defend, said about James.

After Brady had called James "the greatest" while the two were on stage for an event, Bayless went nuts. He even went as far as calling Brady a "sellout" for complimenting James.

"I know that over the weekend, Tom Brady called LeBron James the greatest ever while sitting up on stage with LeBron at the Fanatics Fest in New York City. What a sellout Tom Brady has become post-football off the field, and he was undoubtedly the greatest football player ever on the field.
All-time great clutch competitor, Tom Brady.

But man, when it comes to maximizing his money, Tom Brady will say and do whatever is required to polish his good-guy image. He loves everybody, and everybody loves Tom Brady. And he even kissed LeBron’s ass in front of LeBron because he knows how many billions of followers, how many fans LeBron has, and what a powerful financial alliance he could form with the King post football, probably post basketball for LeBron."

Skip Bayless calls out Tom Brady for sucking up to LeBron James

There isn't someone who defends Brady's honor like Bayless, so this is quite the shift for the TV personality.

Even while insulting the seven-time Super Bowl champion, Bayless still had to sneak compliments in, but yeah, for the most part, this rant toward his NFL hero seemed pretty out of left field.

Before Bayless went into this spiel, Bayless took to his favorite pastime of criticizing James, noting that the Lakers star "can't help himself" and saying that James will never be known as the greatest basketball player "by anyone who really matters." After a while, once you've heard one of Bayless' digs at James, you've heard all of them.

Bayless calling Brady a sellout when he has made a living out of "dropping hot takes" is quite comical, and we'll see if this starts a new trend for Bayless. Maybe now he'll turn on Brady and have to form new hot takes for the foreseeable future.
