Taylor Swift is on the brain at Tight End University. The popstar made an appearance at TEU, an event created by her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to help build a community at the position. Swift performed at the charity event and definitely stole the show during her time at Tight End University.
Bussin' With The Boys asked some of the tight ends in attendance this year which Taylor Swift song was their favorite and the answers obviously varied. This, of course, speaks to the catalog that Swift has, as she's delved in country, pop, and folk during her decorated music career.
Rob Gronkowski was the first to appear in the video, and he didn't hesitate when he said "Shake It Off" was his favorite. Travis Kelce answered with "So High School" from Swift's most recent album and refused when asked to sing some of the song. George Kittle, to the surprise of absolutely no one, picked "Love Story" from one of Swift's earlier albums.
Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce picks a favorite Taylor Swift song that makes perfect sense
There's been speculation that "So High School" is about Kelce, so it's not surprising that this would be his favorite song of hers. One lyric from the song played on how an old interview from Kelce referenced him choosing to kiss Swift in a game of marry, kiss, and kill between her, Ariana Grande, and Katy Perry.
As for the other selections, Gronk picking "Shake It Off" is the most Gronk answer ever, as is Kittle picking "Love Story". There truly is a Taylor Swift song for every single person.
Another tight end had said "Party in the USA" was his favorite, and obviously that can't be the case because that's a Miley Cyrus song (Taylor Lewan points this out). That being said, "Party in the USA" is definitely still a banger.
Kelce's pick, however, will be the one that everyone is interested in. How do you pick just one song from T-Swift's catalog, and especially how do you do that if you're dating her? Do you pick the song(s) she wrote about you or go with a classic like "Love Story" or "Shake It Off"?
For what it's worth, Kelce's pick has remained the same over the last year. When asked what his favorite T-Swift song was during his Kelce Car Jam event in May 2024, "So High School" was still his answer. That's his answer, and he's sticking to it.
