It's been an offseason of weddings for Green Bay Packers quarterbacks. Current Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love married Ronika Stone this past weekend while former long-time Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers married someone we know very little about earlier this offseason.
David Bakhtiari played with both Rodgers and Love, serving as the left tackle for the Packers since his rookie year in 2013. He mostly played with Rodgers but was still playing in the league through 2023, meaning he had one year with Love as the quarterback he was trying to keep upright.
Bakhtiari was in attendance at Love's wedding and even took a shot at Rodgers for that not being the case there. The long-time Packers offensive tackle posted a short video of Love and Stone dancing together on social media with the caption, "Love is love. Congrats to the Loves. Just happy at least one of my quarterbacks invited me to their wedding" with the eyes emoji.
David Bakhtiari throws shade at Aaron Rodgers with Jordan Love wedding comment
Bakhtiari and Rodgers became good friends while playing together in Green Bay so this is likely just a subtle jab at his former teammate. That being said, the long-time Packers tackle didn't hesitate to join in with those making jokes about Rodgers' quiet nupitals.
One user commented that "That other one probably had a ‘commitment ceremony’ to a ghost he saw in the dark", which led to Bakhtiari replying with three laughing crying emojis. Honestly, that comment was making a joke but would anyone be surprised if this really was the case?
Rodgers first dropped that he was in a serious relationship earlier in the offseason and let it slip that he was with someone named Brittni. That's all we know about her other than that she reportedly does not want to be in the public eye. There are no photos of her or any other bits of information. She's a complete and total mystery that now even Bakhtiari is poking fun at.
Perhaps Rodgers and his new wife will have another wedding ceremony later on and maybe Bakhtiari can land an invitation to that ceremony. For now though, he'll just have to be content with being a guest at Love's wedding.
