In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming soon in October, Nike is going out of their way to honor those suffering by producing a Breast Cancer Awareness Month inspired shoe.
It feels endearing to know that so many shoe brands and the sneaker industry as a whole right now is going out of their way to honor the victims and those who are right now suffering from breast cancer. We just reported the other day all about how Vans was working on releasing a shoe in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (which arrives in October, which as of this writing is two days from now). Now we are learning that Nike is stepping up to the plate themselves to produce their very own shoe in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
To honor those suffering from breast cancer and to highlight ways to prevent it in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Nike have decided to team up with Sneaker Room and Coppafeel – the ;latter being the same charity brand who teamed up with Vans for their own line of Breast Cancer Awareness Month – to coat their React Element 87 entirely in pink for October.
Well, actually, there will be three new colorways for the React Element 87 SR QS. One in pink, one in white, and one in black; each respectively being made in only limited 525, 126 and 63 pairs of shoes. Each one comes with a unique number on the tab, but the black one will be the only one with swarovski crystals engraved on to the swoosh logo. No need to wait on these any longer than you already have as they are out now, they dropped yesterday on Sept. 28.
These shoes are available at Sneaker Room’s 410 Central Ave, Jersey City location and on Nike’s official store for a limited time.
