Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first line of sneakers with Nike will be the Greek Freak 1. Before Nike releases the shoes during the NBA Playoffs, we have a first look at its colorway.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been balling his butt off during the NBA Playoffs. Truth be told, he has been balling this entire 2018-19 NBA season and is a big reason why the Milwaukee Bucks wound up being the number one seed in the Playoffs this year. More recently, he led the Bucks to a 4-0 victory against the number eight seed, the Detroit Pistons. Him and the Bucks are currently preparing to face the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of their series starting tomorrow.
Balling on the court may not be the only thing on his mind during the NBA Playoffs. As we previously reported on this site last month, Nike have plans to release Giannis’s first line of sneakers – called the Greek Freak 1 – some time during the NBA Playoffs. An official release date has yet to be announced, but The Greek Freak player is expected to debut his new shoe on the court during one of these upcoming games, so stay tuned for that.
In the meantime, Sneaker News have released our first look at the official colorway for the Greek Freak 1. Be sure to check out the original source for a crystal clear look at those sneakers. The Greek Freak 1 will hit the market in a vibrant orange with hints of light baby blue, red and white around the midsole of the shoe. Those colors sit nicely in the background behind Nike’s big ole signature swoosh.
Giannis could very well debut the Greek Freak 1 any day now at any one of these upcoming Playoff games so stay tuned to NBA coverage and programming to see them.
