Kendrick Lamar x Nike collab for fall release

A day before he hits the Grammys, we are happy to report that Kendrick Lamar is currently working on a collaboration with Nike to produce the Nike React Element 55 for a Fall 2019 release date.

Ever since stepping onto the scene a few years back, Kendrick Lamar has been a force to be reckoned with in not only hip hop circles, but the music industry as a whole. The man currently has 12 Grammy award wins to his name – five of which were won last year – and could potentially be adding more to his collection tomorrow at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, where he has eight nominations. Also last year, Kendrick became the first rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize.

From the looks of it, in addition to his Oscar nomination for the Academy Awards later this month, Kendrick’s 2019 is set to be just as big – if not bigger – than his 2018. Adding to the spectacle of his 2019 so far, he is currently preparing to release a shoe line in collaboration with Nike that is due for a Fall release later this year.

The report comes from @pyleaks on Twitter, who is considered to be a trusted source for sneaker leak news. In his tweet, he reveals that Nike and Kendrick Lamar are currently working on a React Element 55, which is expected to drop this Fall with a retail price of $150. Honestly, that is not a bad price and judging by the picture of the shoe model that was also included in @pyleak’s tweet, the shoes don’t look too bad; not bad at all.

We are eagerly anticipating the release of Nike React Element 55. An actual date has not been given for the Fall release just yet, but we are dying to own a pair of these bad boys in the near future.
