Kanye West and Adidas are expected to re-release the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorway, only this time, the sneaker will feature soles which glow in the dark.
Lately, Kanye West has had a special kind of GLOW to his aura. Yeah, we know, you saw the pun coming a mile away, but bear with us for a second. The co-artist behind the song “Glow” has been glowing himself all week since shining through his Coachella performance last weekend when he hit the stage with Chance the Rapper. Now, it looks like he’s hoping to spread the glow across the country as he re-releases his Yeezy Boost 350 V2. This time, with actual glow in the dark soles.
Mr. West first teased the release of this new glow in the dark colorway – simply called “Glow” – way back in the summer of 2018 – late August to be more specific about it – via a since deleted tweet. Apart from a few special previews from Kim Kardashian showing off kid sizes for the shoes on social media, we have not heard much of a peep – not even regarding a release date – for the shoes since then. However, today, a peep has finally been uttered regarding a possible release date for the colorway.
Granted, it is not an official peep from either Adidas or Yeezus himself, but this rumor in juicy from an interesting reliable source. Uber popular news source Yeezy Mafia – who have accurately reported dozens of stories regarding all things Yeezy in the past – are currently reporting a release date for the new version of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 via Twitter. Per Yeezy Mafia, we should expect the new Boost to hit the shelves as early as next month on May 25. They’re expected to drop for $250.
