Jeff Han of FLY is on a mission to encourage the youth skateboard culture with the nex Nike SB Janoski collaboration.
It’s official, Nike SB is back, and it looks to rebuild on their cultural revival by teaming up with Jeff Han, the man behind FLY Skateshop.
According to Sneaker News, Han is teaming up with Nike to create the new SB Janoski line, which will mesh well with the youth skateboard culture that has popped up in the States over the past decade.
This will be Han’s sixth collaboration with Nike SB, and he’s more than excited to help in the revival of a once-iconic line for the skateboard culture.
The new Janoski line will be more colorful than its previous installments, and the new Janoski will also contain FLY’s coffee cup design. Inside of the show will be the slogan “WAKE UP GO SKATE,” and the shoes will definitely stand out among the crowd. It’s bold and in your face, something that will go hand-and-hand with the youth of today.
Speaking of, this is the perfect chance to finally tap into the culture, with Han and Nike the perfect combination to lead the way. Nike SB was the company of its time and the new FLY will surely be the iconic brand of this modern era of skateboarding.
Look for the FLY x Nike Janoski line to be released as SNKRS STAS on October 27. The first market to receive them will be Shanghai, with a China-wide launch to be expected the following day.
