Another Round of 'the Simpsons Inspired Sneakers Are Being Released by Adidas

Adidas is leaning hard into its collaborations to round out the year. Over the years, the sneaker brand has collaborated with high-end fashion houses like Gucci and Balenciaga. Adidas has partnered with superstars like Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams. More recently, the company has really focused on pop culture, and their collaborations with The Simpsons have delighted fans. More is to come. 

Adidas has worked with 'The Simpsons' in the past 

Adidas has a track record of working with pop culture icons to create sneakers inspired by favorite shows, movies, and characters. The Simspons is no different. Adidas' most recent collaboration with the famed animated series combined a love of the show with meme culture. 

In August 2023, Adidas took a famous The Simpsons meme and used it as inspiration for a pair of Stan Smith sneakers. Fans of the series and the meme went wild, and the sneakers sold well. It's no surprise the shoe hit just the right cord with fans. The design was simplistic but also accurately paid tribute to the series. The heel, which featured an embroidered Homer Simpson silently melting into the bushes, made the kicks a must-have for many fans. 

While the collaboration is still available in select sizes, Adidas is ready to do it all again, and this time, the sneaker purveyor is ensuring there is a little something for everyone. According to Sneaker News, Adidas is set to release three new The Simpsons collaborations this fall. A separate drop is expected a bit earlier. 

'The Simpsons' and Adidas are working together again 

Adidas will be bringing three more The Simpsons sneakers to fans before the end of 2023. According to several sources, the company is set to release a pair of AdiFOMs that pay homage to the show's opening credits. The shoe will be decked out in a pale blue and feature an all-over cartoon cloud design reminiscent of the show's opening sequence. 

A pair of NMD G1s inspired by the ever-lovable Homer Simpson will also be released. The Simpsons X Adidas NMD G1 Homer Simpson will feature an all-over yellow upper with light blue and tan accents. A small Homer Simpson graphic rounds out the sneaker's overall look. Finally, Adidas will release a Forum Low offering that pulls its inspiration from the colors of the Simpson family's living room. The Forum Low will also feature Santa's Little Helper on the heel. 

Ahead of the three-sneaker release in November, Adidas is also working with The Simpsons on a more horror-themed sneaker release. According to Sneaker News, an October 2023 Simpsons collab of the Rivalry Low pulls inspiration from Bart Simpson and his evil twin. The red sneaker features hints of yellow, rope laces, and an ominous interior graphic.

When will the sneakers be available, and what will they sell for? 

While there are already images of all three collaboration offerings, further details are harder to come by. Still, Kicks on Fire reports that all three pairs will be released on Nov. 11, just two weeks before the Holiday shopping season officially begins. 

While Adidas has not released official pricing information, the sneakers should retail for around the same price as non-collaboration offerings from the company. The AdiFOM 'Cloud' drop will set shoppers back $100. The Forum Low collaboration is set to retail for $120. The NMD G1 offering will likely retail for around $120, as well.
