Angel Reese is looking to make a name for herself in the pros, after being drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2024 WNBA Draft. In Reese's debut game, she made her presence felt on the court, playing 26 minutes and contributing 12 points to her team's effort. The 6-foot-3 forward also added 7 rebounds and an assist for a solid introductory stat line.

Despite her impressive individual performance, the Sky ultimately came up short in their season opener, falling 87-79 to the Dallas Wings. While the loss was disappointing, Reese's debut marked a promising start to her WNBA career, and fans eagerly anticipate what she can bring to the table in the future.

Reese, the newly-christened "Chi-Town Barbie" and former LSU star, appears poised to lead her new team to a championship push. Despite a sluggish start, Angel Reese showed signs of her college form in the second half, as she began to dominate the paint and rack up points. As the game progressed, she continued to assert herself, scoring at will and providing a glimpse of what's to come. With an impressive track record of leading LSU in both scoring and rebounding over the past two seasons, Reese's debut was a promising start, even if it wasn't quite vintage Reese (she scored 12 points). With her talent and potential, fans can expect an exciting season ahead.

"It's like for everybody, it's a learning process, It's just learning. Learning and growing. Knowing what they can do and what they can't do. This what it is, this is a learning process. Our girls went out and competed tonight. They competed, we just came up a little bit short because of the things that we are learning down the stretch. You learn how to win, that's where we are. We are learning how to win."

Reese unveiled her talents alongside the debut of the official collaboration between the new WNBA star and Reebok, featuring her version of the Reebok Solution Low PEs. The shoe boasts a classic mesh upper and base in a bold white, paired with a striking pink hue that accents various parts of the sneaker. The tongue features an "Angel" graphic emblazoned in a matching pink color, layered on top of an iridescent bubble. The shoe's bottom brings the design together with a unique touch, as the white sole and bottom transition seamlessly into a sky blue hue, paying homage to the Chicago Sky theme and colorway of their signature jerseys.

Angel Reese gave a sneak preview of a custom model from her upcoming Reebok collaboration.

Reese joined Reebok on an NIL (Name, image, likeness) deal, where she joined fellow LSU product and NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, who had recently signed on to be the new President of Reebok Basketball. Shaq had this to say about the college star joining the brand back in October 2023:

"For my 1st appointment in this role, it had to be the GOAT. There is no one making a bigger impact on the game right now than Angel Reese."
