In what was an intense night and insane turn of events for the back-to-back Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, Jalen Hurts took the opportunity of being back in the Super Bowl against the team that took out his dreams of becoming a champion just 2 years ago very seriously. Hurts managed to prove the naysayers wrong, and not only did he bring home a victory for Philidelphia, but he also brought a W to the Eagles while wearing a shoe of influence and meaning on his feet during the big game.

A custom pair of the "Unbannable” cleated version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 “Bred” was crafted for Hurts ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, and it was fully decked out in references and hidden meanings for the Eagles quarterback. The red swoosh featured a black censor bar over it, going hand in hand with the current marketing that has been running rampant for Jordan Brand's rollout of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 “Bred” that are currently gracing the market for their return. "Unbannable" can be spotted on the heels of the cleats as well as the Jalen Hurts logo on the tongue.

Coincidentally, as we here at Under The Laces reported on previously, Hurts was on the opposing end of a fine due to the cleats on feet during the regular season not matching the appropriate dress code given within the NFL guidelines. Hurts took this opportunity to showcase a classic sneaker on the big stage while also showing off his side of the story towards the NFL fine from earlier in the season.
