Victor Wembanyama to recieve All Star Weekend sneaker drop

As Victor Wembanyama continues to display a career year on the court and win the hearts of many as the one to carry the NBA into the future, he is already also receiving the praise of Nike for dropping a brand new sneaker during NBA All-Star Weekend. Wemby’s “All-Star” Nike GT Hustle 3 is expected to drop on February 14, and we now have a look at what we can expect for the 21-year-old superstar's next sneaker look. 

The shoe looks to be a layered black model with designs embedded into it. The sneaker shows off a black knit upper with 3D graphics, giving the illusion of energy waves. A metallic silver and cream Nike Swoosh is present, outlining the Swoosh logo and adding some sort of color to the black-on-black aesthetic. Wemby's slogan, “Be Unique Everyday,” is present on the shoe as well. An alien logo is seen on the tongue to complete the look of the sneaker and contribute to Wembanyama's aesthetic. 

It blends the classic look of a basketball sneaker under Nike while also showcasing the futuristic elements that bring Wemby to the top when it comes to new palyers who will lead the league as the next face, although he does have some other competetiiton. Other known competitors to Wembanyama in the hunt for the next face of the NBA include Luka Doncic and Anthony Edwards, who also has a stunning sneaker but under the brand with the three stripes, Adidas.

The Victor Wembanyama x Nike GT Hustle 3 “All-Star” will release on February 14, 2025 with a price tag set at $220.
