As fans built hype all around the brand new Union LA x Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Chicago/Shadow" color way release, it might as well have been a battlefield out there for a chance to grab a pair.

The competitive nature of securing that brand-new shoe is back, people. Nearly everyone who participated in the drop via Union's site on February 27th ran into high stakes and nerve-wracking heartbeats as they put in their card information and attempted to get into the drop and ensure they had a new pair of sneakers on their feet for the Spring season. Considering all of the hype placed on the next collaboration between Union and Jordan Brand, it is safe to say many did not know what to expect upon release.

Luckily, many who got on the site and were prepared for a luck of the draw, flip of the coin scenario were pleasantly surprised as they received an email saying that their name was drawn as a lucky winner to secure the sneaker everyone has on their mind.
Interestingly enough, Nike took to social media (specifically X) and let sneakerheads online know that the shoe they have been waiting for would be heading to Nike SNKRS-- where most exclusive drops are released-- in mid March, however, they would backtrack on the claim and say there are no official details on the drop from Union and Jordan Brand. If I were speculating, there were other colorways teased of the Union LA x Nike Air Jordan 1. The drop coming to Nike SNKRS in March could be one of the other colorways that were not seen in an official posting from Union for this recent drop.
