Following our previous report of the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low "Velvet Brown", the hype was real. Upon release on December 21st, 2024, Scott would go full promotion mode for the latest sneaker drop putting out a full collection of clothing on his shop site as well as a promotional video on social media featuring Chicago Bulls and NBA legend, Dennis Rodman. Rodman contributes to the hype by telling the viewer about the factory in which these collaborations have been crafted in, as well as the functions of machinery in a nod to the universe inspired by Charlie/Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Upon the drop announcements came the rumors of raffles and trust me, they had social media in a frenzy. Multiple shops and access points for said raffles were posting about pairs they had in stock including "END Clothing" who's post featured a stockroom filled with the soon to be grails and had sneakerheads excited even more for a chance at the coveted model.

With fans calling the shoe Travis Scott's best looking Air Jordan 1 model, you can for sure say that the drop was successful. Between the last minute promotion, the buzz online, everything came together at the right moment to hype up the drop of the shoes from just another pair of Travis Scott sneakers into what could become his most sought after model under Nike so far. While it was a small collection, even the hype of new Travis merchandise is always something that will intrigue fans so that was smart marketing to get a couple new items put out for those who missed out on the shoes or just were interested in new pieces for their wardrobe that can match the sneakers eventually.

Pieces included in the drop are a "CJ ANNIHILATOR JERSEY", "CJ TAGGED TEE", and the "CJ TAGGED SWEATPANTS" which are all featured in a similar brown hue to match the new drop with Air Jordan.

While the kicks sold out quickly, they are always out there on the resale market and at consignment shops so make sure to go grab a pair if interested when they are availible, they could go down as an all time Travis Scott X Nike collaboration.
