Top 5 LeBron James X Nike sneakers

Certainly, a legend and top 2 basketball player of all time (as someone from Chicago, I have to give an edge to Micheal Jordan) LeBron James has led and meant so much to the generation of today and even of tomorrow, inspiring many and contributing to many careers that have began in the past decade in the NBA. Not only has his play style and leadership on and off the court helped many in taking their talents to the court, but he has also displayed some legendary collaborations for the athletes of today to wear on their feet. Here are some of my personal favorite LeBron James X Nike collaboration shoes to celebrate 40 years of King James.

5. Nike LeBron 20- 'Violet Frost'

One of the more recent releases from James and Nike, dropping on October 15th, 2022. It just gives the vibe of a classic basketball sneaker if you ask me. Vibrant colors, sleek design, and an easy-to-wear shoe for the court. This particular design offers a knit upper with a double-stacked Nike swoosh in both purple and gold layered on top of a lavender knit. Tied together by a white bottom, this shoe provides a nice alternative to other shoes of the same genre.

4. Nike LeBron 18 - 'Melon Tint'

The 'Melon Tint' colorway of the Nike LeBron 18 offers something that broke the barrier for the line. Showcasing a self-explanatory melon-like color, the sneaker offers a high top style that once again has a knit upper but this time is combined with a stabilizing backing on the Achilles and heel, it provides comfort and new technology meshing multiple shoes into one great basketball sneaker. This shoe is also cemented in LeBron's legacy by being the sneaker he wore to win his 4th NBA Championship.

A shoe that aside from the slick Lakers' inspired color scheme, reminds me ultimately of a Kobe Bryant sneaker. Offering a high-top look, the sneaker has each shoe with differences by blending the colors of the Los Angeles franchise of yellow, white, and purple into a classic look that can never go wrong on a basketball court.

2. Nike LeBron 9 'Cannon'

If there was ever a shoe to give "Space Jam" vibes aside from the known Air Jordan 11 model, this is it. A style clash of colors combining teal, navy, orange, and green all in one, this is a hooping shoe. A complete hooping shoe at that. These were released back in 2011 and if you or someone you knew played basketball back then, they wanted a pair of these.

This is THE LeBron James X Nike basketball sneaker. This is one that crossed the boundary of basketball sneakers as everyone was trying to get a pair of these and walking down the halls with these whether or not they were heading to the court or not. Combining the high-top teal with the pink, this pair earned a re-release of the 2010 pair back in 2021 as well. A true classic.
