Nothing is more pesky on the interwebs than an "404 ERROR", "PAGE NOT FOUND", or "HTTP 404" message reading on your screen. But Nike has found a way to integrate this annoying browser message to create an innovative new sneaker.

Earlier in April, Nike unveiled an Air Force 1 silhouette with a blank upper exclusively for members of their .SWOOSH digital platform. This model was made up of a blue-toned, smooth-finished upper, completely void of any finishing touches, including the iconic Nike swoosh, while the midsole is white and the outsole gives off a glass-like sky blue tone. Instead, the sneaker only had text plastered along the side with a Dot Swoosh logo reading: “404 Error. The upper you requested was not found. Try again.”

Fast forward to now, and Nike is prepared to release its second edition of the 404 error-themed AF1 with its Nike .SWOOSH Air Force 1 Low “404 2.0”. The 2.0 takes a similar blue-upper as its predecessor, however, this time it gives off a lenticular and holographic-esque finish - much like a hazy computer screen reading an error message. Speaking of error messages, the text on this 2.0 pair might prove to be a little bit more skewed to read than the last pair, as a 010 binary code overcasts the message. A bit tweaked, the text reads: "404 Error. The Requested upper was not found. Try Again.”

The two sets of "404 error" Air Force 1s bring the total of .SWOOSH sneakers at three, with their first official drop being another exclusive AF1 model called the "TINAJ", which was only made available to those who purchased the Our Force 1 NFT on the platform.

As of now, there are no additional details regarding the release of the Nike .SWOOSH Air Force 1 Low “404 2.0”. However, for those trying to get their hands on a pair of the "404 1.0", there is still time to do so by signing up for .SWOOSH before the April 19 cutoff date. Nike’s Exclusive Access program will determine who gets the chance to buy, considering factors like past purchases and other participation in draws. The sneakers will be listed with an SRP of $150.
