Last summer, one shoe reigned above all for both celebrities and everyday casual wearers alike, that being the Adidas Samba sneaker. Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Katie Holmes, and Kendall Jenner, are just some of the high-profile females who were spotted in a pair of Adidas Sambas. Now don't get us wrong, the Samba is cool and all, but maybe it's time for a change. But what if you still want that classic, soccer trainer look? Then, The PUMA Palermo is right for you!

PUMA Palermo has all the makings to become the 'it' shoe of 2024, mirroring that of the Adidas Samba takeover.

First dropping on the scene in the 80s, The Palermo was Puma's silhouette that resonated with British soccer fans. It soon found its way on the feet of many soccer stadiumgoers, and fast-forward to 2024, Puma is looking to bring the shoe back to prominence once again. And talk about a big-time endorsement, as Puma has appointed British pop megastar Dua Lipa to be the face of their Palermo campaign.

The Palermo will return with a wide range of color choices, making it a perfect staple of any season wardrobe. With its low-cut, tapered look, gum sole, and suede finish, the shoe is as close to an Adidas Samba as it gets. Nevertheless, given the right momentum and hype, the PUMA Palermo has a good chance of knocking the Adidas Samba out of the park!

"“Shooting in an incredible Italian villa was the ideal backdrop for a campaign celebrating a timeless classic like the Palermo. The new colorways are so versatile and striking, and can be styled in so many ways. I know my fans will serve us a multitude of looks and I look forward to seeing how everyone incorporates them into their own personal style” "

In the same way one could style an Adidas Samba, the PUMA Palermo is perfect to dress up or down for any occasion, be it a male or female wearer. It's not often you can find a retro-look sneaker that intersects vintage chic with everyday comfort, but The Palermo has been quoted as such.

There will be a surplus of new PUMA Palermo styles hitting online and in-store shelves in the coming months. For all the latest updates on PUMA Palermo colorways, visit the PUMA Launch Calendar page.
