Kyler Murray Is Attached to an Upcoming Nike Dunks Release
Kyler Murray hasn't played a single snap in the 2023 NFL season so far. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback's return is imminent, though. While he's been busy rehabbing an ACL tear, he's used some of his spare time to work with Nike. As he plans his return to the football world, his collaboration with Nike is set to drop, too. Murray has been working with the sneaker purveyor on a Dunk collaboration, and it looks better than anything we've seen from the line recently.
Everything you need to know about the Nike Be 1 of One Dunks release
The Nike Dunks are among the most coveted sneakers in the industry at the moment. Outside of Jordans, many collectors specifically seek out Dunk collaborations, and it makes sense why. The shoe's simple silhouette lends well to many different colorways and fashion styles.
Kyler Murray's Dunk collaboration sets itself apart with its construction. The olive leather base is an uncommon color choice but one we've seen before. The quilted accents set the shoe apart from the crowd. The accents, in a sea glass green, are complemented by rough edges. The sneaker also features a rose gold metallic swoosh and smaller blue accents. According to Sole Retriever, the rope laces and clear sole round out the shoe. Overall, the collaboration has a timeless but lived-in look to them.
The collaboration, known as Be 1 of One, is expected to retail at $135. Nike Dunk lows traditionally retail for $115—high-top versions of the shoe retail for $135. Murray opted for a low silhouette. The shoes will be released in men's sizes.
When will Kyler Murray's Dunk collaboration be released?
While Nike hasn't shared an official release date on its calendar just yet, there is plenty of intel regarding exactly when fans can expect the sneakers. According to Hyperbeast, fans looking to grab a pair should be signed into the Nike SNKRS app on Nov. 10.
Murray's return to football might come about a week earlier. According to ESPN, the signal-caller practiced in full this week, which might indicate his return to the active roster for week 9. If he doesn't return this week, Murray may suit up in week 10, which is the same week that his Dunks collaboration is rumored to hit the shelves.
