Iconic Nu-metal band Korn is collaborating with Adidas for another project

As first reported by Complex, the band Korn, who helped usher in the '90s nu-metal era, will be working alongside popular sportswear brand Adidas for another collaborative line of sneakers and apparel. Not much is known regarding details of the collection as of now, aside from leaks made available on social media.

Adidas first teamed up with Korn in the Fall of 2023, when they released a collection of Korn-inspired three-striped apparel and two colorways of the Adidas Campus 00s in "Black/White" and "White/Black," featuring the band's iconic logo stitched on the tongue. To much fanfare, the first Adidas x Korn collection garnered huge fan demand and quickly sold out.

And so, drawing off success from the first drop, Adidas and Korn have come together once again for a second drop with new styles and colorways to entice their audience.

The black and white color scheme returns in the May 2023 collection, but this time in the form of an Adidas Campus 2 sneaker, where the insole features Korn-related imagery and designs. A burgundy and off-white colorway of the Adidas Supermodified sneaker will also be available, with a green Korn-inspired Adidas logo and a guitar tab charm with the Korn logo attached to one of the eyelets.

Aside from the two sneakers dropping in the collection, the Adidas x Korn second line includes various pieces of apparel including a green sequined tracksuit, Korn socks in brown, white/black, and black/green, a hat, and a black crewneck featuring artwork from Korn's 1998 smash-hit album Follow the Leader.

Given the unconfirmed and leaked nature of these captures, the final products of this scheduled Adidas x Korn collection are subject to change. However, eager fans of the band can use these first-look photographs to prepare themselves for what's to come this May. The reaction to the collection thus far has been mixed, with some vibing with the look of the tracksuit, while others suggestedbetter merch designs.

Nevertheless, Adidas and Korn plan on further collections working alongside each other, with a third line set to arrive in Fall 2024, paying homage to the 30th anniversary of Korn’s 1994 self-titled debut album.
