The UConn Huskies continue down the path of victory in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, with a dominant defeat of the Oklahoma Sooners, with the final score being 82-59. The saving grace for the Huskies was Paige Bueckers, who was able to drop 40 points throughout the game in a huge performance that made waves all around. Bueckers had the performance while wearing a player-exclusive colorway of the Nike Sabrina 2.

The shoe features a white and navy upper color combination, as well as a red Nike swoosh, which hits on the sides, playing up to the traditional UConn Huskies color palette of their school and jerseys. As per usual with most player-exclusive colorways, the shoe that Bueckers rocked during the 40-point performance will not be up for sale from Nike officially, but the hype could cause a lot of hype for more models to be released in the future.

As the Nike Sabrina 2 continues to rise in stock, the more that the shoe will continue to gather attention. The Nike Sabrina 2 showcases an Air Zoom portion, and the midsole features two types of Cushlon: a plush type feel that provides a new form of stability on the court. With Bueckers performance being such a groundbreaking performance in he sports world and especially at the college level, the stocks will continue to rise for those who can ball out on the court, especially during the March Madness season. Stay tuned to see how Bueckers career develops, I am sure she will be a future candidate for the next star of Nike Basketball sneakers.
