People have been speculating about the nature of Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd's relationship for quite some time now. The two played together at UConn so it makes sense that the two would be close but as time has gone on, people have begun to question if the closeness is because they're friends or if they're more than that.
Well, it appears we might finally have an answer to that, thanks to a recent Instagram story from Fudd. In the photo, Fudd is getting her hair done. Upon closer review, one can see that Fudd's phone case has "Paige Buecker's girlfriend" donned across it.
While this could be Fudd simply messing with people for all of the rumors, people might not look at it that way. She's previously posted a Tik Tok of the two with the caption "Princess treatment every time I'm with her" and tagging Bueckers in the post (Bueckers also appeared in the video). This could easily be looked at as a hard launch of their relationship or it could again be the two messing with people.

Bueckers and Fudd played for the Huskies together for four seasons so, again, it makes sense that the two would be close. Rumors started to swirl about the two potentially being romantically involved with recent instances being Fudd wearng Bueckers' jersey during a Dallas Wings road game against the Connecticut Sun. The post-game hug between the two also raised eyebrows for people thinking the two might be more than just friends.
We'll have to see if either Bueckers or Fudd speak about the phone case thing or if this is just them continuing to mess with everyone. Fudd opted to return to UConn for another season rather than enter the WNBA Draft this past year while Bueckers, of course, entered the draft and was taken number one overall by Dallas.
