Nike SB has given fans a some of the hottest sneakers and sneaker collabs to date and while this is not an official collaboration, it could be a sign of things to come. Dubbed the "Shenron" colorway due to the close resemblence to the mythical character of the Dragon Ball universe, fans have a first look at the highly anticipated 2025 sneaker release. Drawing inspiration from the mythical wish granting dragon from the popular series Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, the style is looking to combine crazy details and materials to give fans the ultimate shoe that might be meant to honor the legendary character.

The model could also be a nod to Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama who passed away earlier this year.

The sneaker is looking to honor the known series and character by taking from its vintage colors and adding them to the sneaker with multiple features and nods to it. Green suede is layered to reference the dragon scales along with orange and golden accent hits splattered around the shoe completing the look. Thick white rope-like laces are included already in the shoe, reminicent to the Travis Scott SB for those who like that type of look that accompanies the Nike SB signatures with the thicker materials and style. The swoosh is highlighted with black to tie it all together. Nike embroidery is seen across the achilles as well. A golden yellow sockliner sits atop the shoe and it is finished with a red bottom sole representing Shenron's eyes to complete the theme of the character and sneaker.

This shoe should sell rather quickly as not only skate fans will be interested in a brand new drop from Nike SB, but also the sneakerheads will want a piece of the pie and of course DragonBall fans will be interested in trying to add to collections. As usual for Nike SB releases, the special edition sneaker will drop at skate shops as well as Nike. As more images and official looks get released, Under The Laces will have the drop on everything new regarding the sneakers.
