Adrian Peterson is one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, but his legacy continues to be tarnished by off-the-field incidents, and the latest one certainly isn't going to do him any favors.
On Thursday, TMZ Sports shared a video clip of Peterson getting into a legitimate fist-fight with someone in the middle of a poker game.

Fight involving ex-NFL RB Adrian Peterson due to a disagreement with "one of his buddies"
Apparently, this fight happened almost a month ago, as TMZ revealed in its report that the incident went down back on May 27th at a place called JokerStars in Houston, Texas.
Peterson told TMZ that the skirmish was the result of a disagreement between him and "one of his buddies." Minor injuries were suffered and the former running back claims that he and the other person involved are on good terms now.
"Me and the guy, we're cool. We've known each other. It was literally like a brother situation. We agreed to disagree, we had our words, and we threw blows -- and that was it."
No cops were called and no charges have been filed against Peterson as a result of the fight during the poker game.
This is the second time in the last few weeks that Peterson's name has popped up in the headlines for the wrong reasons, as he was arrested for DWI back in April after attending an NFL Draft party held by the Minnesota Vikings, one of his former teams.
On the field with the Vikings and a handful of other teams, Peterson was one of the best to ever line up in an NFL backfield. He won the league's MVP award in 2012, and his 14,918 career rushing yards are the fifth-most in NFL history, behind only Barry Sanders, Frank Gore, Walter Payton, and Emmitt Smith.
Unfortunately, ever since Peterson's playing days in the league essentially came to a close after the 2021 season, trouble has seemed to follow him more often than not. Peterson accomplished a ton during his time in the NFL, but a number of his recent poor decisions are really starting to overshadow all the success he had on the football field.
