James Harden is not the only Clippers roster member who has a rising pair of basketball sneakers making the rounds. Based on the Los Angeles Clippers' city uniform, the “Wave” color way of the New Balance Kawhi IV is leaving jaws dropped as far as splashing buckets on the court.
Taking the color hue directly from the specialty jersey allows for the shoe to make a distinct difference between most other shoes in the hooping sneaker game. While loud colors are not something that is frowned upon or leaned away from in the world of sneakers, especially basketball sneakers, the specific baby blue color used in both the jersey as well as the shoe allows for a perfect blend.

Complete with a highlighting “2” and engraved “KAWHI” sitting on top of it, New Balance and Kawhi Leonard have allowed for a new variation of the shoe game. Offering a sleek and clean look to the shoe will offer a great combination for that one outfit on the court.
Leonard has looked the best that he has on the court in recent years this series against the Denver Nuggets, offering some of his most dynamic and inspired defense. The Klaw has helped keep the Clippers alive in the nailbiting series as they are tied 2-2 in the opening round of this years NBA Playoffs and it does not look to be calming down in the slightest. With some new footwear on feet, maybe they can help get the Clippers the series W.
The sky blue and sea salt color palette is available now on New Balance’s site with a price set at $159.99.
