As HOKA continues to blow past the competition in athletic footwear, the French sneaker brand has landed a luxury fashion collaboration with MARNI on the way to the top. The brand's signature model, the Bondi B3LS, has already become a staple in their collection, but with this upgrade, it is definitely going to gain popularity. It can also skyrocket the new model to the top of sneaker heads' lists for this year.

MARNI adds their own spin to the shoe by giving the upper a puffy makeover and making their mark on the shoe right away, and if you ask me, it makes this look a premium upgrade in terms of looks for the original model. The sneaker is met with a similar style that can be seen on the Adidas Yeezy 500 model in certain aspects, and HOKA has also adapted this on their slip-on sneaker, the Ora Primo. Keeping the classic structure that HOKA has become known for, the sole is a chunky twist on a regular running sneaker, adding support but with a blend of style that MARNI adds in their own taste for this look.

The shoebox itself is also met with some new style choices that MARNI adds to the vintage box that HOKA usually provides, adding to the plain HOKA spellout logo across the top, but this time blended with a scratch effect, reminiscent of the old WWE/F scratch logo. The unique design does not stop there; the box is also crafted with a unique shape that looks to be meant to pull out to reveal the collaboration for your feet. Finished with the MARNI logo spelled out in what can be seen as a permanent marker feel, the box is a work of art in itself and completes what I need in a sneaker collaboration: a classic sneaker accompanied by a classic box and packaging.

While the sneakers will be set at a hefty price at $350, the red, baby blue, brown, and yellow colorways are shoes that you might want to try to grab if prices drop or if you can grab them on release before a potential price spike from the resale market. Combining comfort with rich fashion, this could send HOKA to the top of those competitors within the sneaker world next to top names such as Adidas and Nike. The collaboration is set to drop at MARNI on April 3rd, followed by a worldwide release through HOKA select retailers on April 4th.
