Not taking his foot off the gas is Lil Yachty when it comes to sneakers and footwear as he has already begun to tease a new look for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Concrete Boys” collaboration that he recently dropped on December 2nd.
Using images of a pair that is definitely more unique than his last drop which followed a pretty uniform white and navy colorway, this sneaker offers some variety as it shows off a crocodile skin upper layered on top of a black sole and black detailing on the sneaker. Following an interesting rollout of the first colorway, combining fan hype for the simplicity of the sneaker and the feedback and back and forth between Yachty and Bimma Williams at ComplexCon, Yachty had to take a rollercoaster of a route for the next drop whether or not it was going to be different or not.
The Atlanta native is sticking to his theme of being true to himself and keeping his outspoken opinions as he went ahead to reveal the new colorway and it takes a turn in comparison to the previous release. The green and black croc upper is joined by previously mentioned black detailing of logos that were also present on the first pair but in what feels like a completely different shoe this time around.
While the last shoe had the same branding, the pop on those is a complete 180 as these feel much more complete and like a true collab in comparison to the traditional white Air Force 1 with Lil Yachty 'Concrete Boys' branding along parts of the shoe.
While there is no confirmation on a release date for the new variation of the shoe from Yachty or Nike, fans should expect the design sometime next year in the first half.
