Kyrie Irving's tribute to his late mother, Elizabeth, will arrive on Mother's Day. To pay tribute, Irving will be releasing a special edition ANTA sneaker. The sneaker is set to drop exclusively through the New Jersey-based sneaker boutique Sneaker Room.

The exclusive sneaker features a red-coated base and upper as well as gold trim to highlight the details. An embroidered design is spread throughout the sneaker, as well as a gold and red design pattern on the laces, and includes a celebratory "Mother's Day" inscription in gold on the tongue. A red heart patch can also be seen near the ankle, completing the motherly vibes and theme of the shoe. This year's release continues the trend of Irving releasing a tribute shoe for Mother's Day yearly, and will be the second iteration of the Mother's Day edition of the ANTA line.

Touching tributes aside, the vibe of the sneaker is definitely felt, and to me, it is received. This could be one of the more wearable ANTA sneakers for the court, as the vision is there and met for what was trying to be delivered, and also involves a motive for such a creative look. You can't go wrong with a red hoop shoe, and this one, as an exclusive, will always look good for those who are interested in trying to get some new footwear for the court. Who knows, they might fit into the casual wear basketball sneakers if you want to get fancy.

The "Mother's Day" Kai 2 will be available on May 3 through Sneaker Room.
