Kendrick Lamar graced the Super Bowl stage on Sunday night and immediately- in Kendrick Lamar fashion- left the world talking. For better or for worse, Kendrick Lamar made sure to let the world hear his current inventory of songs off of his latest project, GNX, while also hitting a couple of classics and the worldwide hit number one smash, Not Like Us. Of course, K Dot had to make sure to pop out in style in New Orleans, so here we are to break down some of the signature pieces of Lamar's outfit from top to bottom.
Starting off with one of the main pieces, Lamar has once again displayed his love and appreciation for the British-Jamaican menswear brand Martine Rose. A custom multicolored Martine Rose leather jacket was on display including 'Gloria' placed across the front in a nod to the final track off of GNX which is about his pen. The back of the jacket features a large 'PG Lang' graphic on top of a globe and a 'Compton' font piece atop of it. The sleeve features blue leather layered with patches that signify this era of Lamar's career including a yellow 'Nationals' script to honor the Grand National vehicle, a 'Peekaboo' script-- a song off of GNX which was performed in the setlist-- and a 'WOP WOP WOP' worldwide graphic as a link towards the Not Like Us single that drove Lamar into the next level to cap off his series of diss tracks against Drake in 2024.

K Dot's bottoms were from Celine in a washed light blue and a loose fitting bottom to compliment the pair of Nike Air DT Max '96 that he had on feet.
To top off the outfit, the statement piece that had everyone talking was Kendrick's main piece of jewelry, his 'a' chain. The piece started a lot of conversation online as many thought the chain was linked to the "A minor" line that was a hit in Not Like Us. However, the pendant is actually a logo in the PG Lang company that Lamar and Dave Free have started.
I didn't think I needed to explain this, but no, it was an "a minor" chain. It was a pgLang chain pic.twitter.com/MhLAkPHd80

Lamar kept it simple and classy but added some of his trademark style to the performance and the overall outfit. The look of Kendrick Lamar was not compromised just because of the Super Bowl stage; in fact, it was presented in the largest way it could be, and that is what makes the performance different than anyone else.
