Baby number two has arrived for Kate Upton and Justin Verlander! According to a rep of Upton's, the couple welcomed a son -- who they named Bellamy Brooks Verlander -- on June 19. With the birth of his second child, Verlander was placed on the paternity list by the San Francisco Giants on Friday.
The couple had their first child -- Genevieve Upton Verlander -- in November 2018 and she's mostly been kept out of the spotlight. That being said, Genevieve was present when Verlander and the Astros won the World Series in November 2022.

Upton and Verlander started dating in 2014 and got married in 2017 in Tuscany, Italy shortly after Verlander won his first World Series with the Astros. As noted, baby number one arrived a year later and Upton hadn't seemed to be in a rush to have another child.
In a 2020 interview, Upton was asked if she was thinking about giving Genevieve a sibling, to which the model/actress replied, "Oh, no, no."
Of course, this was half a decade ago and a lot has obviously changed for her and Verlander since then. Their oldest child is six years old and Upton had enough time to recover from her first pregnancy.
Verlander has been a Major League Baseball pitcher since entering the league in 2005 as the second overall pick by the Detroit Tigers. By his third year in the league, he was an All-Star starting pitcher and quickly became the Tigers' ace until he was traded to the Astros in 2017 where he helped them win their first World Series.
Verlander helped the Astros win another championship in 2022 and then the two sides moved on from each other when he joined the Giants over the offseason. He's not the same dominant pitcher he once was but that tends to happen to pitchers in their 40s.
Upton is a model and an actress appearing in movies such as The Other Woman and The Layover. The two have been together for over a decade and, it feels safe to say that before Taylor and Travis, these two were the hot couple in sports for many years.
Now they've welcomed their second child into the world. Congrats!
