Let’s be honest: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has gone from ‘‘cute’ to ‘super cute’ to ‘okay, that’s enough cuteness’ to ‘do we need to see her every five minutes during this Chiefs game’ to ‘all right, enough already’ to ‘you know what, they’re not that bad’ to ‘okay, they’re cute again.’

It’s been quite a ride since Kelce and Swift struck up a romance in 2023. Since then, they’ve run the risk of overexposure. But with Swift ending her Eras Tour (thus allowing other stars to get some of the spotlight) and the Kansas City Chiefs losing Super Bowl LX, there’s been enough goodwill to see that they do make a cute couple.

Plus, when we see something like what Kelce posted to Instagram recently, we can think it’s “terribly sweet” instead of just “terrible.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Appear to Have Matching His-And-Her Phone Lock Screens

“Had some adventures this offseason, kept it [100],” wrote Kelce in the caption of the Instagram Carousel he uploaded recently. The update marked the first time that Taylor Swift graced his Instagram, and fans quickly picked up on a detail in the third slide.

In the pic, Kelce and Swift are at a fancy dinner. They’re both wearing black, with Taylor posing with someone’s glasses. But what fans noted is that Travis has a black and white photo of him and Taylor as his phone’s lock screen.

“Me looking at Travis’s phone background,” commented Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran. And according to People, Swifties noticed that Taylor’s home screen also contains a black-and-white photo of the couple (but her device was partially blocked by her drink).

The gallery (with 13 photos, naturally) showed Travis’s adventures: Taylor and Travis in white, wearing a “Captain” and “First Mate” hats; a shot of Travis, Jason and Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, out in the woods; a family photo of Travis, Jason and mom Donna Kelce; and final pic of Taylor joining Travis on an ice hockey rink.

Kelce’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes, weighed in by dropping a “heart” and “strength” emoji. The account for Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast, ‘New Heights,’ also said that he did the “offseason done right.”

Flavor Flav, aka “King Swiftie,” wrote, “The whole world is happy for y’all. May God continue to bless you and your families with happiness and pure joy.”

And while most fans were sensible in response to these new photos, some brands went a bit overboard with the fawning:  “This might break the internet," wrote Betty Crocker. “Things we love to see: Travis happy,” commented the official Chiefs Instagram, while Chewy wrote, “woke my dog up just to show her these pics."

The official United Airlines account commented, “*immediately changing our boarding music exclusively to So High School*.” Virgin Media wrote, “Mum and dad look amazing.”

Maybe if we all kept ourselves in check, then Taylor and Travis’s relationship could stay at its “cute” level? At least until the NFL season starts in September?
