James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers took the court on Wednesday night's game against the team that Harden would once call home, the Houston Rockets, and walked off the hardwood floor with the victory. While taking the W is of course something that should be on the mind of any team entering a game, the footwear was on the radar of many sneakerheads who paid any attention to those gracing the floor.
As Harden is usually the one expected to be showing off some fresh laces for the games, fans were caught off guard to see many joining in on the current highlight sneaker under Adidas basketball. Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden and Clippers owner Steve Ballmer both were seen sporting the James Harden sneaker for the Clipper's last home game. They left nobody excluded from the look as the entire Clippers organization including the cheerleaders and National Anthem singer were also seen with the Harden Vol. 9 on feet. Ivica Zubac added to his stat sheet scoring a triple double to end the night, perhaps the luck of the 'Hellcat' colorway might have been a good luck charm for the big man.
The 'Hellcat' colorway is the exact pair everyone had on and they give off the classic red and black combo that has made its way to many sneakers and collaborations so far regarding kicks, but most notably with Micheal Jordan under Nike. With the colorway getting so much love within the team that houses James Harden currently, it would not be a shocker to see the pair garner more attention than before as it rises the ranks to become an elite hooping shoe and more players across the league and those who even make their way to a local gym to play end up dawning a pair.
