Union X Jordan might be one of the most respected collaborations that Jordan Brand has associated with in recent years for me personally, and it just continues to get better and better.

Following an impressive debut with the first drop taking to the classic Air Jordan 1 high model, they returned to the Jumpman team hitting a complete remix on the patented Air Jordan 4 model, creating a brand new shoe almost by taking the classic look and bringing it to the world of Union, putting their own spin on it. The vibrant colorway took the sneaker world by storm, adding to the ever-growing popularity of the Air Jordan 4. Since then, fans have been patiently waiting to see what would come next from the dynamic duo of brands who seemingly cannot miss following their two previous notable collaborations.

As news approached that a new release would be getting set soon, it was revealed that Union was returning to the sneaker that started it all, the Air Jordan 1. The Union x Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Chicago/Shadow' hit shelves online on February 27th, and without warning, fans were desperately trying to get their hands on the new release.

The new collaboration shoe would not even be shown off to the public until NBA All-Star Weekend despite the multiple instances of fans begging for a new shoe from the two brands.

The ‘Chicago/Shadow' colorway brings a look that is not often seen within the traditional Jordan 1 sneakers, allowing for a mix between a retro classic and adding a new twist to it, which not only adds to the overall design but makes it look unique and appealing as well. Along with the new sneakers came some brand new clothing as well.

If you managed to get a pair, let us know on X how the experience was and what your favorite part of the newest drop from Union X Jordan is.
