NBA superstar Kevin Durant was recently traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets, placing one of the greatest NBA players of all time on his fifth team as he enters the 18th season of his career.
Durant has always been one of the most criticized players in the league, and following the trade, the critics were out.
One person who was vocal about their critique of Durant’s legacy following the trade was Emmanuel Acho, the former NFL linebacker turned sports analyst.
Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant fired back at criticism from FS1's Emmanuel Acho
On an episode of FS1’s The Facility, Acho revealed his NBA legacy formula, taking the number of championships a player won and dividing it by the number of teams they played for.
The analysts showed this creation on air, arguing that Durant would have a legacy score of 0.4 after winning two championships so far in his career.
Acho did the equation with five teams for Durant, even though the NBA star hasn’t even played with his fifth team yet. Nevertheless, Acho made this point as a knock on Durant’s legacy.
Sure enough, Durant, who’s known for jumping online to share his thoughts, took to social media to respond to the analyst.
The basketball star responded by unveiling his own legacy formula, which found that Acho is the worst linebacker of all time. Durant then asked if people were sure they wanted to listen to him talk about greatness.
According to The Great Kevin Durant’s legacy formula that was created in the best labs at MIT, Emmanuel is the worst linebacker of all time. You sure you wanna listen to this guy about greatness?

Acho responded by acknowledging that Durant’s comeback was funny, even though he was the one being clowned. The former linebacker spent four years in the NFL from 2012 to 2015. In his career, he appeared in just 20 games, recording 33 total tackles.
Because of that, his playing career is often brought up anytime he makes a point people don’t agreee with— which happens to be often.
This isn’t the first time Durant has called Acho out. Back in May, when Acho made the argument that the Boston Celtics match up better against the New York Knicks without their best player, Jayson Tatum, Durant said hot take artists have ruined the sport, and suggested football players stick to football.
He also ended that message with another jab at Acho, saying, “Dudes who quit football early to pursue media talkin mental toughness, cut it out.”
Durant will seemingly be ready to check Acho anytime the analyst makes a bizarre point about the game, the new Houston Rocket loves.
