Drake Maye is in his first official offseason as an NFL quarterback and he made sure that it was a memorable one. The New England Patriots quarterback married his long-time girlfriend Ann Michael Hudson over the weekend.

Maye and Hudson have been together since middle school though the first official social media post of them together was in 2020. The two attended the same schools through college and now they've officially tied the knot after getting engaged earlier this year.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple "hosted their ceremony at the exclusive Grandfather Golf and Country Club nestled in their native North Carolina." Pictures from the wedding are available via that Daily Mail link as well.

Maye spent three years as the quarterback of the North Carolina Tar Heels but didn't take over the starting gig until the 2022 season where he put up career-highs. His excellent 2023 season helped ensure that he'd be a top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and that played out, as he was selected third overall by the Patriots.

Quarterbacking the Patriots is no easy feat, especially with Tom Brady being in that role for two decades but Maye put together a promising rookie year. The Patriots might not have looked like a playoff contender but it looked as though they found their franchise quarterback.

Patriots fans hope that Maye doesn't suffer from the dreaded sophomore slump and continues to grow and improve in New England.

Hudson has been supportive of Maye's football career throughout their relationship and her brother, Tad, was even a teammate of Maye's while at UNC (he was one of Maye's backup quarterbacks).

Congrats to the happy couple!
