As a week filled with uncertainty looks to be coming to a close when it comes to trade talks and the Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker has been sliding towards a new record as he does not know what shakeups will occur within his team in the next 24 hours. Booker, who has been a member of the Phoenix Suns roster for the entirety of his NBA career, officially passed up Walter Davis to climb the ranks and officially claim the franchise throne during Monday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers three-point jumper in the third quarter.

It would take Booker 642 total games played to accomplish the Suns record and hitting 15,667 points.
To celebrate the feat, Nike has gone ahead and crafted Booker a custom pair of his signature hooping shoe, the Nike Book 1, which would take from the classic Converse Startech Mid PE-- worn by the man whom Booker would take over-- Walter Davis. Davis is cemented in the sneaker and the Converse graphic, and "W Davis" is placed near the ankle. The one-of-one sneaker features a white upper with a tan suede addition surrounding and occupying the toebox. The two heels feature "D Book" and "15,667+." The classic orange and purple colorway is seen on the insole, as well as a vintage Phonix Suns logo stating "Suns All-Time Leading Scorer."

As Booker celebrates the major milestone in his career, it comes at the same time as the Suns are going through a crisis of identity as word is coming in and out of social media of trades all across the NBA, including one of the most blockbuster trades in NBA history with Luka Doncic being sent to LA for Anthony Davis and others. The Suns have had Kevin Durant, Booker's main piece for the possible success of the future of Phoenix, in the news within trade talks as well.

With the occasion happening and All-Star Weekend coming up, Booker has some time ahead to at least relax and try to celebrate the major moment in his career.
