Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together for eight years and have two daughters. The date on which Ronaldo proposed to his sweetheart hasn't been confirmed yet, but Rodriguez's Instagram post implied that it probably happened days ago.
The snap accompanying the Argentine-Spanish model's post on August 11 showcased Ronaldo's splendid offering, which has an oval central stone garnished by two other sparkling pieces on either side. Rodriguez publicized her reply to her boyfriend's proposal through the caption of her Instagram post.
The 31-year-old also desired her bonding with Ronaldo to stretch beyond this lifetime as she vowed to be his wife for "all her lives." The English translation of her Spanish caption read, "Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives."
The CEO of 'Rare Carat', Ajay Anand estimated the ring to be priced at about $5M, while Lorel Diamond's engagement ring specialist, Laura Taylor's expressed her take on the exquisite ring saying, "Oval cuts are known for their brilliant faceting, which maximizes sparkle and gives the stone a bright, lively appearance from every angle."
Ronaldo couldn't lead his side, Al-Nassr, to the Saudi Pro League championship in the 2024-25 season despite scoring the most number of goals (25) and bagging the Player of the Season award by audience votes. However, the past season might have been the last one in which the 40-year-old was unmarried.
With the 2025-26 season of the Saudi Pro League stated to begin on August 22, it will be interesting to witness if Ronaldo and Rodriguez decide to conclude their wedding rituals before the 40-year-old's return to the pitch.
