Following his appearance on 'Sneaker Shopping' with Complex, CM Punk wasted no time getting laced up and wearing that new pair of Off White X Nike Air Jordan 1 'UNC' to a live TV taping. Punk was involved in the main event angle of the program, going face to face with current reigning WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes, a mirror of a promo segment from this same time last year where the two went head to head on the microphone as well. Rhodes is no stranger to sneaker games either, frequently wearing Kobe sneakers if not disappeared down in a suit.

The Off White X Nike Air Jordan 1 'UNC' currently sells online for between $1,000 - $3,000, depending on the size of your preferred sneaker. When asked about his shoe game being on display on 'Sneaker Shopping,' Punk stated that he was confused as to why people care so much about what is on his feet. Just a sneakerhead thing, Punk. Those who know about sneakers when watching Monday Night Raw on Netflix were certainly hoping that Punk would avoid in-ring action at all costs, avoiding creasing up such a rare sneaker. Punk's influence for the big purchase was seeing an old photo of one of his all-time favorites, Bret 'Hitman' Hart, sporting a pair of original Air Jordan 1 'UNC' sneakers during an old school interview.
Punk now heads to the Royal Rumble on Saturday, February 1st, where he competes in the men's Royal Rumble match, in which a victory will grant him the dream of main-eventing WrestleMania for the first time.
