Ahead of participating in his first-ever WWE Wrestlemania main event, WWE star CM Punk received a pair of custom HOKA sneakers from the one and only Mache. Mache has remixed dozens of sneakers for celebrities and athletes, including helping out with AEW's Swerve Strickland and his debut sneaker, and he has not been shy to hide his appreciation for pro wrestling over the years as well.
Mache took to the HOKA Clifton 9 and created a brand new spin on the up-and-coming pair of fitness sneakers. Taking a step away from his traditional Air Jordan 1 customs, the HOKA was a smart choice as Punk is seen sporting the HOKA brand regularly on social media as well as for non-wrestling segments in the ring.
The new version of the Clifton 9 shoe is coated in a white upper with hits and decals that go hand in hand with CM Punk and his theme of branding throughout the shoe. Each side of the shoe features the "BEST IN THE WORLD" and "CM PUNK" sellouts, along with the signature CM Punk lightning bolt fist logo that Punk has carried with him for a long portion of his WWE career. At the toebox is a red "X" layered over, signifying the straightedge lifestyle that Punk has promoted over the course of his entire pro wrestling career, as well as red hits at the end of the sole. The shoe is finished off with the patient Chicago stars from the Chicago flag painted around the sneaker as well.
Punk is set to go into a triple-threat main event with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to close the show for the first time in his career at this year's Wrestlemania.
