Jake Paul has another boxing match coming up on Saturday, June 28, which means he’s back in front of cameras being an agent of chaos. English journalist and media personality Piers Morgan was recently on the receiving end of Paul’s chaos after trying to have an honest chat with the influencer-turned-boxer.
Paul was recently a virtual guest on Morgan’s show, “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” and the conversation went sideways after Morgan questioned the legitimacy of Paul’s 11-1 boxing record. Pointing out how the entertainer hasn’t fought many real boxers in their prime, using a 58-year-old Mike Tyson as the primary example, Paul lost it and resorted to insulting Morgan.
The social media star told Morgan he needs to go to the gym, and that his opinion doesn’t matter. The TV host quickly responded by asking why he's appearing on his show if he thinks so little of him.
Paul made it clear that his appearance was strictly business, as he’s hoping Morgan’s audience will buy his Pay-Per-View fight on Saturday. Shortly after that statement, Paul hung up the virtual call, leaving Morgan laughing.

This is nothing Paul hasn’t heard before, and his reaction is always the same. Nevertheless, he’s set to have his 13th professional boxing match when he faces off against Julio César Chávez Jr. on Saturday.
Evident by his name, Paul's opponent is the son of legendary boxer Julio César Chávez. While Chávez Jr. is a professional boxer, boasting a 54-6-1 record, he still doesn’t bring the kind of credibility Paul’s critics are looking for.
Chávez Jr. will enter the fight on a two-fight winning streak, with his most recent loss coming in 2021 to UFC great Anderson Silva. After beating Chávez Jr., Silva went on to lose to Paul in 2022.
The transitive property isn’t a thing in sports, so Paul beating Silva, who beat Chávez Jr., doesn’t guarantee Chávez Jr. will lose to Paul. However, the reality of the different results with the common opponent is a reason why critics aren’t all that excited for this fight.
