BAPE is adding to their resume of sneaker collaborations in 2025, looking to add to the Adidas Superstar series. Two new looks are hitting shelves this Spring-- specifically April-- and if I might add, this could be a heavy hitter of a collaboration.

The upper of the shoe is detailed with the vintage BAPE camo ingrained into the sneaker within a textured style. The shoe is transformed in true collaboration fashion as it adds the BAPE star logo across the side, replacing the Adidas three stripes. As of right now, set to release are a black and white pair as well as a blue and white pair, which ultimately hits a great spot within the sneaker world as the upper is completed in leather and adds to both brand's sneaker catelogue. The drop is set to come with some new apparal as well including tracksuits and hoodies.

I previously mentioned how Adidas had had a collaboration problem, and honestly, it seems my prayers have been answered. In my previous report, I stated that the collab world within Adidas was something I would like to see get shaken up, and here it is. I feel that BAPE kinda fits the exact mold I was hoping for when it comes to a new collaboration line that Adidas can get in with, trendy, vintage hits the right spot for this kind of thing. Would love to see more come from the two brands and more sneaker stuff from BAPE in general. With two collabs down in 2025, it would be interesting to see where they go.

The collab is set to drop at select retailers on April 5, 2025.
