Chicago Bulls continue to rebuild with new Jordan colorway

While no one in the basketball community seems to think the Chicago Bulls have a chance in this new NBA season, we at least like their new Air Jordan colorway.

The Chicago Bulls have been in a rebuilding for the past few years and still now, it seems like they have a long way to go to be taken seriously. With a few weeks to go before the NBA season officially begins (with the preseason games taking place starting this Friday), the Bulls remain one of the most overlooked teams in the Eastern Conference and frankly the entire NBA roster.

It is a shame, really, give how dominant the Bulls were decades ago with Michael Jordan at the helm. Yet, in 2019, their win projections is low (even with standout Zach LaVine at the helm of the franchise) and fans, critics, and commentators collectively feel as though these teams do not have a chance in hell at making the NBA Playoffs when the 2019-20 season wraps up in 2020, just like how they missed the NBA Playoffs over the past two years in 2019 and 2018. Love them or hate them, we can at least say that we are in love with the next Air Jordan colorway directly made in honor of the Bulls.

In the sneaker community, basketball win projections do not matter. Only crispy kicks do, and as long as hot sneakers made in the Bulls’ honor like this keep getting made, we have no gripes with them. This new Air Jordan IX will be hitting the market in a new “Gym Red” colorway directly inspired by the Bulls. To remind us of when the Bulls dominated the NBA, these shoes come equipped with Michael Jordan’s number, 23, on the back of each pair.

These shoes will be hitting the market on Oct. 5 at a price of $190.
